Manage Clips

Manage Clips was my own service for Twitch streamers. A busy channel can build up thousands of clips, and Twitch’s own clip manager made it hard to find a particular one again. I built Manage Clips to fix that.

A streamer signs in with their Twitch account and imports their clips. They can then:

• Search clips by title, game or the person who clipped them
• Filter by minimum views, date or featured clips, and sort by views or date
• Tag clips to group them however they like
• Add members such as mods or editors, so they can help manage the clips too

Imports run in the background and pull in every clip’s details from the Twitch API. The clips are indexed in Meilisearch, so search results come back instantly, even on a channel with a huge back catalogue.

Manage Clips didn’t get many users, and Twitch later built a much better clip manager into the platform itself. I shut it down at the end of 2024, but it was a really interesting project to build.
