About the project
Curve Games came to me in need of a way to automate sending game codes to users for a play test they were planning.
They wanted a way for users in their Discord to be able to request a game key by “reacting” to a post in one of their channels.
This would do the following:
- Give that user a “play test” role in Discord
- Find an available key in the database
- Mark that key as requested by that user
- Send that user a private message with the game key and additional info
This saved the team at Curve Games a lot of time as before they had to reply to messages from users.
